How Do You Know If a Sex Offender Lives Nearby?

I’ve asked myself that question before and perhaps the answer has been out there for some time and I never knew it.

I know that there is a registery that sex offenders are on but searching the database can be difficult.  You can search by name and terretory but I was finding it difficult to search the other way.  I want to know if there are offenders in my home’s general vicinity (or church, school, etc.).

Well, I finally came across this site: www.familywatchdog.us which lets you type in your address and it will load a map showing local offenders.
